The dependence of social relationships on individual personality is more pronounced during teenage. This therefore implies that teenagers struggle to achieve the desirable personality traits. Since adolescence is considered as a period of transition from childhood to adulthood, the society expectations from the youths are high. This sometimes places pressure on the adolescents. Behaviors such as depression and violence should be viewed as detrimental when they result in adverse effects in the society. Parents should thus monitor their children to ensure that despite being independent, the changes in adolescence do not result in adverse effects.
