Mr. John Smith,
The Human Capital Manager,
Jackson Memorial Hospital,
1500 NW 12th Ave,
Miami, Florida 33136.
Dear Sir,
RE: APPLICATION LETTER FOR A NURSING JOB
I am writing to express my interest at the Jackson Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Having completed my studies at the Florida National University where I earned my BSN, I believe I am well equipped to add value to the hospital. Over the years of my study, I have developed skills that can help me deliver outstanding healthcare to my patients.
My passion for better healthcare all drives my ambition in studying and working hard to acquire extensive knowledge in the field of nursing. I am committed to working with people from all spheres of life regardless of their race, religion, or any other time of orientation. I am very professional while undertaking my duties and I always seek the advice and opinion of my seniors, especially when dealing with complex matters. One key thing that my years of study have taught me is the importance of discipline, punctuality, and dedication to my work. All these traits are critical in delivering outstanding healthcare to patients regardless of one’s field (Bicknell-Holmes, 2016). I believe that with this, I will add value to this organization.
My key expertise areas include monitoring patients’ health records, updating information of crucial signs, and documentation to aid in effective healthcare delivery. As articulated in my resume, I have had the opportunity of working as an intern at a community hospital where I was tasked with assessing patients ‘conditions and developing diagnostic tests. While undertaking these duties, I have developed vital skills with regard to performing emergency medical procedures. Key among these procedures include emergency cardiac and life support, first aid, and stabilization interventions. I possess excellent communication skills, the ability to articulate my ideas precisely, and effectiveness in interacting with patients, colleagues, and patients’ family members.
Sincerely,
My Name.
