I have had many diversions in my life that have impacted both positively and negatively to my well-being. The negative diversions have strengthened me and made me to work even harder whereas positive diversions have encouraged me in the realization of my goals. I had a diversion which was a negative experience in my life and postponed the realization of my goals. I have had many negative diversions but failing in my first attempt of my fifth grade exams hit me so hard because of the effects it had on my life.
The experience affected me psychologically and postponed the realization of my goals for one year. This essay looks at how failing in my first attempt of the fifth grade exam was a negative experience in my life and how it discourage me in the realization of my goals.Failing my first attempt at fifth-grade test was a negative experience which remains memorable to me to this day. I vividly remember how I failed simple subjects in my first attempt at the exams.
I was barred from graduating to the next level until I passed in the second attempt. This incidence discouraged me and made me contemplate dropping out of school. All my classmates passed the exams at the first attempt and were allowed to graduate to the next level; this made me feel that I had low intellectual capabilities compared to my peers. I felt as if I had low intellectual capabilities compared to others because all of them had outshined me in the simple test.
