I do not think that Jig will have an abortion because she does not consider it to be the right thing to do.

Communication is important, especially in a love relationship and when solving conflicts. It is observed in the relationship between Jig and the father of the unborn child that she is carrying.
- Explain why “The Cask of Amontillado” is still enjoyed by readers today.
Readers still enjoy the story because of the determination that Montresor had to avenge the wrongdoing he felt had been committed against him. It is interesting to read about how far individuals can go to avenge the wrong that they feel has been committed against them.
