Land use tends to vary depending on various factors. Two major important factors are discussed in this report. The two factors are the type of land and the use of land. These two factors are also affected by other factors which include the statistics of a location, the governance structure in place and the management of the areas.


Los Angeles is the second largest city in the United States. It is commonly abbreviated as L.A. The town is found in the state of California. It only plays a secondary role to New York City.  The city is divided into a total of 80 districts and neighborhood. The area is largely composed of whites who make up 49% of the population. The other populations present in the land include Non-Hispanic whites (28%), African- American (9%), Hispanic (8%) and Asian (6%).
