Homework Answer on Population
Some people may see it extraordinary that the United Nations’ most senior human rights representative would use their initial press conference in an attempt of underscoring a concern that appears far beyond his executive authority, climate change. Nevertheless, as explained by the High Commissioner, global warming does not just act as one of the most outstanding environmental problems of the contemporary times but as well one of the worst human difficulties, with extensive and severe impacts on human rights. Such effects of climate change that influence human rights have been deemed and identified by the United Nations in numerous instances.
The United Nations Human Rights Council in conjunction with the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP UNFCCC) have established that the effects of climate change encompass rising sea level, regular and harsh weather conditions, and weakens a scope of globally-safeguarded human rights, from the rights to cleanliness and water, to healthiness, food, sufficient shelter, and living standards.
