I can however discuss the diverse characteristics of effective teams in order to differentiate them from ineffective teams. The characteristics o effective teams involve the following traits. Foremost, the team members maintain a tension-free atmosphere, as they are considerate and enjoy working together without unhealthy and aggressive competition.

The teams also encourage participation among members on various topics and issues without sidetracking about the task. Team members also maintain a clear acknowledgement and understanding of the teams’ objectives in order to reduce conflicts. Consequently, team members are able to listen well while indicating interest on ideas and comments provided during meetings. This encourages comfortable and constructive disagreements in the teams in order to grow and develop.
