Canada and Terrorism

Terrorism in Canada is a subject that cannot be ignored. Terrorism has been observed to rise in Canada in the recent years. The rise in terrorism in the region can be attributed to the immigration asylum provided by Canada as well as to the proximity of the country to the US. Terror groups such as Al-Qaeda can have representatives in Canada who will live in unity with the peaceful citizens of the country. It can conclusively be said that the Canadian population is built as a result of the immigration from different societies. Through the years, the participation of terrorists in the country have been changed. The border between the United States and Canada is the longest intercontinental border in the world, a subject that makes border monitoring completely difficult. In addition to this, Canada does not restrain or question refugees that get into their country.
