Homework Answer on Four Women of Egypt
One of the fundamental ideas that the video communicates to the viewer is that it is the time human beings shunned the divides among religious lines and unite as one. The four women friends do not belong to the same denomination since only one of them has put on a veil. It is thus a wake-up call to everyone who might still be entertaining the thoughts that fundamentalists and secularists are enemies who do not have any shared experiences to discuss with each other.
I believe that one of the reasons that the film has gained acceptance across Egypt, Arabic countries, and part of the west is because it encourages the viewers across the globe to value other beings irrespective of their denominational, political or social beliefs. Some of the insights that I have gained from watching this video is that it pays to stand united especially when we are fighting a common enemy.
If we allow divisions amongst us in the lines of religion, politics, or culture, we are not likely to form a united front against our attackers. If we claim to love our nation and declare our willingness to keep it safe from our adversaries, then we must embrace one another and draw from their strengths regardless of our diversity.
