Individual Personalities and Temperament

Different organizations have different management styles that involve relationships, team building, developing and motivating others. The best ways to enhance full participation is by sharing information with the employees and involve them in decision-making. They feel engaged and party to a team. However, different people have different personalities which may affect management styles and organizational structure and culture.

According to Buckner and Buckner (2014), the personality and blood type are interlinked as brought out in the blood-type-personality theory. The theory was discovered in Japan by Tereji Furakawa. He observed that people with certain characteristics and personalities shared the same blood group. Buskner and Bucker (2014), further supported earlier research on the same where they even went further to give the advantages and disadvantages of each blood type. For example, people with blood group O are described as realistic and good co-workers. They also have a way of escaping from reality when troubled, and also show ambition and interest to work. Type A blood group members are described to be introverts, good mates and very cooperative. Those quality traits are good in an organization since arguments will be less likely to occur. Unfortunately, they tend to be unfaithful, inflexible and needing an audience or attention.

In addition, there are other employees that could have suffered Borderline Personality Disorder that affects their relation with other employees in the workplace. The condition is characterized by tumulus interpersonal relationships, emotional deregulation and impulsive behaviors. This affects the working, educational and societal functioning. Such employees do not function well and keeping a job for them is almost impossible. According to Stepp, Keenan, Hipwell and Krueger (2014), the BPD disorder causes them to have frequent mood swings, intense anger and acts of self-injury. Working with co- workers is almost impossible and such a person does not respond to supervision properly.
