The maker of “These hands”documentary addressed the audience who did not know the plea of women who lived in deplorable conditions and yet derived pleasure from what they did. They engage in tedious and menial job and the pay is menial. The work is hard and many women would have left it for the men but these women are comfortable and excited doing it.

Factors that would have caused unhappiness in the women’s life

There are many causes for unhappiness among different sets of people in the society. Worried people end up being unhappy. Some things in life we have no control over, worrying such things as people far from us and there is a certain way we want them to live creates a negative situation in the future that may believe in. The imagination brings negative emotions in the present hence upsetting our peace.

Worrying about one’s means of survival and property like money and other materials makes them just sad. Failure to tear some lines set by oneself on their money or being unable to pay bills affects the emotional well-being of a person adversely. Thus, if the women in the documentary would have spent time critiquing, discussing, evaluating and worrying about the agony they were facing by doing the hard quarry job, they would have been worried. This would have affected their happiness.

It’s very hard for one to be happy if they are surrounded by negativity and all they see coming their way is negative. Having a mindset that all your results will be negative or being ever pessimistic maybe because that’s what has been the case in the past closes your eyes to even the few positive things that will happen on the way.

The women enjoy what they do and the benefits they get from their work. This puts off the negative mentality and allows them to focus on the beneficial aspects of their jobs.

A person who keeps listening or obeying negatives voices within oneself lowers the chances of constructing anything positive about the individual. This escalates and intensifies the sorrows he/she may be going through. It is worth noting that the pains one is experiencing may spill over at the place of work. This can affect the productivity levels as well as the workplace interactions. To a greater extent negativity and unhappiness can affect the entire system as the women negative interaction will affect the relationships between them. When the relationships are strained, the excitement and happiness previously enjoyed at the quarry ceases. Thus, it is of great importance that an individual avoid negativity in all spheres of life so as to be able to enjoy the benefits that come with being happy.

Another cause of unhappiness is expecting so much from life which may not be what we get all the times. Aiming at perfect outcomes of what we do means that we’ll only be happy when what we get is perfect, if anything less than the perfect happens then it lowers the self-esteem and makes us undermine our abilities. This makes it hard to find joy. This is evident in the lack of control over one’s life.

Some spheres of life take a personal dimension, being unable to control personal issues puts us to the offensive with our own selves. Putting standards for ourselves by comparing them with other people overcomplicates life since it may be our worst part but their best part. Grudges and carrying revenge thoughts makes us hurt for nothing since the people we target for revenge have no clue about our imaginations.

A liberal mind will rarely be stressed up for anything. The women have open mind and are liberal in facing the challenges they face while at work. This works at making things better for them as hey would not have done anything to better their situation. They cannot get better jobs in the offices as they are not schooled

The happiness on the women is further caused by recognizing the impacts their work has on other people. This gives them greater focus as they look at the end product that satisfies the clients. This goes past the simplicity of completing one’s responsibilities.

The positivity is utilized in achieving of goals, self-talk as well as strategizing to retain the resilience and work at the required objectives. Satisfaction can be attributed to assessment of personal strengths. The women help one to develop in inner sense of emotional engagement as well as meaning. This is boosted by the physical engagement of the women and thus the women feel good about themselves.yth interconnection that exists within the women leads to individual growth and thus a feeling of achievement.

Happiness is sustained by the fact that the activities that the women engage in matter to them. This goes a long way in solving the problems that arise between them. An organization that has less problems runs effectively and delivers high results.
