Communication

I chose to research on the significance of communication in an organization. Communication is the pervasive endeavor through which people interrelate with each other and merge their strengths, and is vital to enhance the success of the organization. Where communication is successful, it offers a bridge of gist between individuals (Newstrom, 2015). No organization can exist devoid of communication. With no communication, workers cannot identify what their colleagues are carrying out, management cannot obtain information on the progress, and leaders and supervisors cannot offer instructions (Newstrom, 2015). Progressively, organizations with their public relations experts are identifying the significance of reinforcing internal communication with workers (Mishra, Boynton, & Mishra, 2014). The significance of internal communication lies in the building of a culture of transparency between management and workers, and it can involve workers in the priorities and changes in the organization.

This article employs results from discussions with public relations managers to investigate the increasing function that internal communication has in engagement of workers. Public relations managers use an assortment of communication techniques, encompassing person-to-person talk, to communicate with workers. The communication techniques selected by the management of an organization ought to be geared towards generating confidence and engagement with workers (Mishra et al., 2014). In this regard, public relations managers are entangled in an extended function of promoting engagement of workers. For every stakeholder to distinguish a constant message from the organization, both internal and external means of communication have to be incorporated with the purpose of ensuring great success. Communication in an organization benefits the organization, the workers, and the public at large (Mishra et al., 2014). I will apply the knowledge gained from the article in communicating effectively while being open and honest with my fiends, relatives, the community, and perhaps in the future as a manager in an organization.

Motivation

I chose to research on the impact of motivation to success of an organization. Motivation in the workplace is the outcome of an array of external and internal forces that make workers select a suitable strategy and take part in certain conducts. Preferably, these conducts will be geared towards the realization of organizational intentions. Motivation necessitates identifying and comprehending employee demands and requirements because it starts from a person. Positive endeavors done for the organization, for instance, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty through outstanding personalized service ought to be strengthened through motivation of employees (Newstrom, 2015). The motivation of employees to offer their level best at work always is a great challenge for managers of any organization (Adyasha, 2013). Unmotivated workers can put minimal effort in their tasks, leave the organization at the slightest competition, and at times discourage other workers of the organization, which could lead to the failure of the organization.

   Since each person has dissimilar requirements, what motivates one person to work diligently may be very different from what motivates another. Requirements vary with time, desires change with individuals, and maturity rates or psychological intelligence of employees differ. It is hard to comprehend what inspires employees devoid of evaluating what they need and desire from their tasks. Such dimensions of human development for organizational success are being pursued in most organizations to boost their triumph and performance of workers. Backing the ideas of employees, strengthening them, and appreciating their success are crucial in their motivation (Adyasha, 2013). I will apply the information gained from this article in motivating employees, in my future capacity as a manager, so that I attract the best talent and maintain them while stimulating them to give their best always.
