To keep up with the swift changes, Carrefour supermarkets have a team of IT experts who constantly design new stock keeping programs, human resource management platforms, and software for the effective assessment of the efficiency of the supply chain management.

Thus, by using these programs, Carrefour supermarket’s operations are more efficient, yielding better results in trading terms. It is now very clear and comprehensible that Carrefour supermarket makes remarkable contributions to the general business/industrial sector of the GCC member nations and the United Arab Emirates. It provides the opportunity of employment to countless people that would have been a statistic in the unemployment data. Apart from providing employment, it also trains its personnel on the basic business management skills that are of prime importance when it comes to running a business. Carrefour supermarket pays well too, which motivates their employees save enough money to start and run their own businesses.

 These businesses are the next generation “mega” companies, which is a contribution to the business sector in the United Arab Emirates. In addition, Carrefour supermarkets contribute to the improvement of technology by designing contemporary business management programs that have been used by other companies to maintain a competitive edge. In consequence, Carrefour supermarket has contributed majorly to the business/industrial sector in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Countries Council member states.
