            As observed earlier, many private schools are business ventures geared towards making an income for the owners. This implies that the owners may decide to increase on their profit margins by compromising on certain aspects of education. For example, a Christian private school may teach the students about the Jewish background in an endeavor to lay the foundation about the Israelites’ education and subsequently the origin of Christianity, which may affect the students’ value of their respective religious backgrounds and hinder multicultural awareness. Some lessons such as holocaust among the Jews may trigger negative perception towards individuals who practice such religion and cause social disunity, which is unhealthy for any community. The kind of teaching offered in private schools tends to have more long-term effects on the learners compared to public school’s teaching system. Some studies also observed that discipline level is higher in private schools than in public schools, thus having a better impact on the learners. Private schools also have a number of disadvantages associated with them including lack of social cohesion as teachers focus on academics, teachers’ incompetence as a result of hiring unqualified personnel, violation of personal freedoms such as in religious private schools and spoon feeding the students making them exam machines and missing out on the most important aspect of learning.
