A major hindrance is that the boss is sometimes not in the best position to observe the day-to-day behaviors of employees on the job going by the critical role he plays in the company.
- Development is an ongoing process closely related to one’s work. The challenges in a person’s work drive the person to learn and grow, so you cannot expect to send someone to a single training program and have him or her return “fully developed.” However, such events can play an important role in the development process if they are closely linked to the challenges of the work situation. Through competition, peers are able to learn from each others mistakes and in the long run create an environment where they will coexist evenly.
- Maintaining friendship at workplaces enables easy flow of work enhancing teamwork as individuals are able to aid each other. Expanding acquaintances enables an individual to learn from the successes of his/her peers; this also enables sharing of expert ideas. Developing personal friendship enables individuals to interact with ease while supporting one another in the organization set-up. However maintaining close friendship with workplace colleagues can make individual to underperform at workplace as they loose concentration in their service delivery. Individuals should have different relations in all sections for instance at home personal relations between family members is totally different from workplace relations as each individual at work comes from a different background there his/her level of relations cant be equal. Maintaining a close intimate friendship at work leads to underperformance, favorism and may lead to the downfall of an organization.
- To ensure sharing of ideas among individuals, a social platform where individuals meet to discuss and air out their issues is ideal. To ensure that each individual is catered for branding the platform to a more unified tagline will ensure that people who don’t get along will be comfortable too. Also the subjects can be general to ensure uniformity.
- Not everyone is perfect; among the human weaknesses that are evident among individuals include misused strengths, old habits, expression of personal stress and disconnection. Asking form information when needed, having a positive outlook of every situation and being grateful for any help received is a formidable way handling the various weaknesses that human beings are faced with.
