Evaluation of the Issue

Background: Focus in schools has always been on high performing students with teachers ensuring that these students can maintain such performance. However, teachers should focus on ensuring every student can attain high performance. Low performing students should be upliftedin order to attain high performances like their counterparts.

Need:Some research needs to be conducted on how best to improve the effectiveness of education on low performing students. As the situation is, these students need much support and guidance to be at par with other students. Collaboration of teachers is requiredin order to facilitate better performance of these students.

Constraints:The biggest challenge would have to be time and money that would be necessary to compensate teachers for extra tuition and services. Weekly meetings will require scheduling of time thereby keeping teachers away from their ordinary teaching activities. Teachers might also resist collaboration sighting laziness and failure to work hard by low performing students.

Resources Available:Much research has been availed on how low performance can be improved and how effective collaboration can enhance thesuccess. Educational professionals would have to come in to develop the plans and provide advice on how to improve goals.
